Blog

Its Own Natural Timeline

Tonight I was thinking how my reinvention has its own natural timeline, which apparently has nothing to do with my carefully prepared plans.

It’s like once I got the ball rolling it’s kind of taking care of itself. This is what I hoped for; an organic journey to emotional and spiritual wellness without having to prod it along.

Even though I don’t seem to be leading the band, every step appears to be carefully orchestrated (lol) – from my outfits to my images to my hair to my weight, etc.

About my hair, that was a tough one. You all saw me wearing berets from December, when I started posting, until it was too warm to wear hats.

It took a while to understand what the heck I was going to do with my hair. After 45 years I was tired of the same buzzcut and wanted something unique. But a mohawk? It soon became ‘why not a mohawk’, as I found myself googling mohawk hairstyles and loving the look more and more.

I haven’t updated my blog in quite some time, and, as you know, I’ve been posting on Facebook and Instagram daily.
Because social media is subject to glitches and issues that are out of our control, I strongly believe it’s necessary for any business to have a website or a blog.

Considering how strongly I feel about that, until tonight I was annoyed at myself for not updating my blog on a more consistent basis.

Tonight I realized that I’m a mere passenger on this trip and The Universe is ‘driving the train’ and calling the stops. That means I need to trust the process and accept the fact that powers far greater than mine alone are going to bring this whole thing home.

I think this realization came to me tonight to prepare me for waking up tomorrow with a burning desire to update my blog.

Wouldn’t that be something?
